At Kudos IT PTY LTD, your privacy is our top priority. We believe your documents and personal data belong solely to you. Markdown Converter & Editor operates with zero data collection and 100% on-device processing. We do not transmit, analyse, or store your documents on any external server.

1. Zero Data Collection

Mark Down Converter & Viewer does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage metrics, or document data.

  • No Personal Information: We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or payment details within the app.
  • No Tracking or Analytics: The application contains no telemetry, analytics tools, advertising SDKs, cookies, or third-party tracking software.
  • No Account Required: You can use all conversion, editing, and preview features immediately without creating an account, signing in, or providing any credentials.

2. 100% On-Device & Offline Processing

All document conversions, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), text renderings, searches, and file exports are executed 100% locally on your Mac and in your browser.

  • Local Execution: Your files never leave your computer or browser.
  • No Cloud Uploads: No document contents, images, or extracted text are ever sent to external cloud servers, AI APIs, or third-party services.
  • Fully Offline Capable: The application functions completely without an active internet connection.

3. Local Storage & Permissions

Any data saved by the application (such as your preferred default destination folder, zoom preferences, and recent conversion history) is stored strictly on your local disk inside the sandboxed application directory or local browser session.

  • Clearable History: You can clear your recent history and preferences anytime within the application.
  • Sandboxed File Access: The app only accesses files and folders that you explicitly open, drag, or select for export. It does not scan, index, or access any other files on your disk.

4. Third-Party Services

Because all conversions and OCR features are processed natively on your device, we do not partner with or send data to any third-party processors. The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics libraries, or third-party tracking scripts.

5. Children's Privacy

The application does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
